Hi every bear and human friends.

Last Friday our Mama had her 

74th birthday!

Her very good friend flew out

from Oregon to surprise her

and they with my human sister

went out for Italian food.

This is our Mama and our
sister at their Italian dinner that I wasn't invited
to.  All I had that night for dinner was peanut butter toast!

I'm gonna be in big trouble
because I'm posting a picture
of mama.  She said she is
too wrinkly for pictures!
Maybe next year I'll be invited to her Birthday dinner!
Then again maybe not!

It's Fall here!
 We took pictures
of the trees in our front yard because
they have turned pretty colors this year.

This is my sweet little brother Jason.
He's gathering leaves for mama because
she loves Fall so much.

I am supposed to be helping my mama to pull weeds.  I am instead dreaming of Jasmine  flowers.  Wilbur it was so kind of you to think of wanting to send me jasmine flowers.  Could it possibly be that you were dreaming just a tiny bit about me?  I miss you Wilbur and am looking so forward to next Summer's camp.

Little bugs are flying all over me.  If you were here Wilbur I know you would swat them away from me.

Getting ready to go to camp

Soon I will be leaving for camp.

At first I was a little scared to

be away from home where I feel

beary happy!

Now I am so excited.  I am going to be

the beary best bear that I know how to be!

Maybe Wilbur will let me try on his shoes!

Maybe I can dig for worms, Maybe I can 

catch a fish for me to bring home. Maybe I

will make lots of new friends!

I'm waiting for the mailman.  

I hope mama remembered to 

tell Miss Gloria Grizzly and Miss Brenda Black Bear 

that I need lots of honey!

Funny Friday

I'm helping mama in the garden.  I told her when she see's a pretty flower she will always think of me.  Maybe she won't miss me as much when I go to camp, if she has flowers to remind her of our day in the garden.

Jason:  Do you know why Lulu and Flora

had to be shipped off to finishing school?

Well I want a real fish, and I only have this dumb play one.  I can't catch a bird or trap a monkey so I thought I would take peanut to camp with me and he could

stay in my box.  Prudence loves Peanut and Peanut loves Prudence.  Wouldn't that be nice for them  to see each other?

Mama said good intentions don't always work out. It was a sweet thought Jason but

have my very own zoo!

We would have to go to the zoo to see a monkey!

Our little Jason is determined to have a pet bird!

Jason has been outside since breakfast.  He said he's not coming in

I'm getting ready for camp cause I don't

want to be late!!

Wilbur said he is my friend.  He's going to teach

me to fish.  I'm gonna bring my fish home.  I won't eat 

him because he will be my pet!  Maybe he will look

like this fish!  Wilbur said maybe I can put my fish in a jar till

I get home with my very own fish.  I'm going to name my fish

It's Springtime here at our house.

That means mama is bringing out all

the Sunshine and yellows that she can 

find to set out!

Blossom and I have been helping mama to

make our house pretty for Spring.

Prudence's mom sent us these eggs last

Easter time.  We wanted mama to paint 

them but mama said no, she liked them

brown.  It reminds her of the time she used

 to spend gathering all the brown eggs when she

spent time at her Aunt's little chicken farm.

We put them in a basket with

two little chickies and a pretty bow

to surprise her.

This is where we set them

A nice friend sent mama a pretty

card with a paper dolly.

That's because mama said even 

though she's an antique she is

still a little girl at heart.
